Christian Education

Christian Education involves body, mind and spirit and moves people to learn how to relate to God, community and all of God's creation. Learn to hear the voice of God every day in your life. He will speak to you and teach you everything you need to know, and He will do it in a way that will transform your life.

Children and Youth: During the Contemporary Worship Service on Sunday's at 10:00 am, the children stay in worship for the first 15 minutes to participate in the opening praise songs. Then they are invited to join an age appropriate Sunday school lesson in our Education building. Afterwards they will enjoy snacks in Fellowship Hall where you can rejoin them after the service.

Adult Bible Study: Bishop's Glen on Thursday's at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. Wednesday evenings at the Church 7:00 - 7:45 pm.

The Revised Common Lectionary provides a three-year plan for Scripture readings. For each Sunday, four readings are suggested and include: a Gospel reading, an Old Testament reading, a reading from the Psalms, and a New Testament reading.

Each year focuses on one of the Gospels. Year A - Matthew, Year B - Mark, and Year C - Luke. John is read in each year in the major seasons of Christmas, Lent, and Easter.
